McColl-Richardson Field

In recognition of their generous financial support of the Charlotte 49er Football Program, the McColl-Richardson Field is named after two of Charlotte's most influential community members, Hugh McColl and Jerry Richardson.

McColl, former Chairman and CEO of Bank of America, is a banking industry pioneer and was instrumental in bringing the Carolina Panthers to Charlotte. Richardson, founder and majority owner of the Carolina Panthers, is best known for his work with the NFL collective bargaining agreement negotiations.
